Lithuania will perform in the Eurovision 2011 finals on Saturday night in Dusseldorf after making it through the first semi-final on Tuesday.
The song by Evelina Sasenko C'est Ma Vie makes it to the final after last year's entry crashed out disappointingly in the first round.
When Sasenko discovered she had reached the final she was estatic.
"I jumped high into the sky. I hope in an hour or two I will realise what has happened," she said just after the votes came in.
One user of the Eurovision website called "love_lee" expressed excitement at the result and also wished other nations well.
"I am very happy that Lithuania is in the final. And other countries songs are great too. I guess 8 countries who are now in the final. I was wrong just for Poland and Armenia. But Serbia and Iceland songs are beautiful too."
