Rain and wind did not stop musicians around Lithuania from taking to the streets with their instruments for Gatves Muzikos Diena (Street Music Day).
At noon on Saturday the music started in the streets in Vilnius, with musicians and dancers lining the arteries of the city.
Some waited for the perfect opportunity to begin while others just began hitting their drums and playing their guitars and horns.
Thousands of musicians took to the streets in over 50 towns and cities in Lithuania for the annual event, which was encouraged by the Lithuanian rock musician Andrius Mamontovas.
