The live broadcast of the royal wedding between Crown Prince William and Kate Middleton was watched by 672,000 people, or 21 percent of the country, research company TNS LT reported.
Three channels in the country featured wedding coverage of some sort on April 29.
"Various sources reported that the royal wedding was watched all over the world by 2 billion people. Our research shows that, despite the fact that the ceremony was on a simple weekday during working hours, people found time to see the wedding all over the country," TNS LT director Gytis Juodpusis said.
At least some coverage of the wedding including a documentary or live coverage was seen by 44.2 percent of the population (1.4 million people).
The live broadcast of the actual wedding ceremony at Westminster Abbey was watched by an estimate 408,000 people (12.8 percent of the population). In Latvia 216,000 people, 10.3 percent, watched the ceremony and in Estonia 172,000 people, 13.5 percent, tuned in.
